""From one Air Force family to another, Just know your son and your family will be in our thoughts forever.
My son is in Basic Training right now. We leave for graduation in the middle of August. When I watch the Airmen's Run on the first morning, I will think of your boy. A fallen Hero.
God Bless""

"Hi Brad,
You were a great friend to Ken and it means so much to both of us that you and your family were the only witnesses to the eternal union between Ken and I, your names will forever be cherished on our marriage certificate.

To Rebecca:

I can only hold you

I can't tell you I feel your pain,
But I can hold you when you cry.
I can't give you a reason for your grief,
But I can hold you when you ask me why.

I can't offer you condolences
When I haven't suffered your pain.
I can only offer you the words of my truth,
When your blue skies begin to rain.

I can tell you 'time heals all wounds',
Although that's certainly a lie;
It isn't time that heals our wounds
It's giving love and forgiveness another try.

I can only offer you my embrace
As a small moment of refuge.
I wish I could take it all away...
But I can only hold you."

"We were stationed with Brad in Germany and loved to see him get ready for Haunted Tent City. He was an amazing person who would help anyone. When we learned of his death...we couldnt believe it. We cried and prayed for his family and friends, who will miss him dearly. May God comfort those and keep him in His arms. We thank you Brad for your sacrifice. MSgt Toby Dunlap and family."

"To Brad's family I am so sorry for your loss. It seems that when I finally get a chance to check another friend of mine has fallen. I knew Brad back in high school, he was a great guy then and I know he had to be a great husband, father, and patriot. He will be missed, but never forgotten."
SFC James T. Grimes of Afghanistan

"Brad, We were best friends when we were kids, had alot of fun. You died doing a honorable thing, most of us won't. You deserved better. I know your children will miss you, I'll check in on them as I can. I miss you, pal. For those of you that don't know Brad could have retired out of the Airforce in a year. You were always a good friend Brad and the world is a darker place now that you have gone.

Rest well my friend."

The EOD community has lost a great tech, and I lost a good friend and mentor. I would also like to so sorry to Brad's family. Sorry I found out so late."
