""Rah"...it's my time to leave a message in memory of your loss. You must know that it is different around without you. It's even much difficult to come home from Columbia and look over at you parent's house. I no longer holla across the ditch and say let go shoot pool and drink a six pack. I continue to think about our time in the gray tempo and my delta 88. I'm happy to say that we share about 20 years of our life together...trying different routes after graduating you decide to be a soldier. Sometimes when driving alone on the highway my mind tell me to look right in the passanger seat...I'm thinking I've seen you. I look then laugh bc you're not there. I know you always look out for me in many ways and at that moment I say "leave me alone Rah before you make me wreck my car" Love you always"
Naemon "kojak" Youmans of Columbia, SC

"Youmans, bootcamp was so much easier because you were there. I have had my best memories in 2084 with you. I have thought of you almost everyday ever since i picked up a Times and saw your name in the KIA section. I know you were a true warrior and went down with the toughness only a Marine knows. It was a shame we never kept up after Bootcamp but we all had our roads to travel, and the good die young.
