"Sir,
Thank you for your service. You were uniquely suited for the job you did for all of us on Camp Ur. It was an honor working for you. I still think of you often."
Tony Harding of Houston, TX

"I remember my friend Tom very fondly. I only knew him a short time as I was his predecessor in the position as base commander at the Tallil Regional Support Base in Iraq. I completed the hand over in September 2005. He was a good man! God bless him and his family!"
LTC Eugene Rivera of Rochester, NY

"Holly,
It has been awhile since I have touched base with you, but a day does not go by that I don't think of Tom. I wear a braid wrist band that reminds to think of him and to never forget. I have just returned after a 14 month tour outside of Baghdad. Being home for two months almost makes me wish I had extended. I lost a friend this time around. It never ends. Please know I still think of you and your children. I still need to take time to go by an see Tom. But understand it is hard to let go of a good friend as he was. If you ever need to yell or talk to someone email me at kfm4m@virginia.edu

"I trained with LTC Wren getting ready to go to iraq. He would always make me laugh, even when the amount of training we were doing wore us down. I was brought to tears in iraq when I heard he had died. He was one of the finest men I have met while I have been in uniform for 32 years."
SSG Louis Dambach of Petersburg Virginia

"In Our Hearts

We thought of you with Love today
But that is nothing new
We thought about you yesterday
And the days before that too.

We think of you in silence
We often speak your name
Now all we have are memories
And your picture in a frame.

Your memory is our keepsake
With which we’ll never part
God has you in his keeping
We have you in our hearts.
