"I had the privilege to serve with Clint for a few years in the FDC of B Battery, but transferred out of the unit shortly before they were called. When I heard the news from Iraq, at first I was shocked, but then a few moments later all I could say was, "That sounds like Clint..." and it did. He was always the first to step forward to help someone else, giving unselfishly of his time to aid another."
Sgt. Bruce Robinson of Festus MO/USA

"I Remember Clint jokingly commenting about perhaps ramming into a Car Bomber without a single look of fear in his eye, while he was smoking a cigarette during our briefing right before we took off that day. He was ready to do what he had to do. Thanks, Clint

"On this day, 9/7/05, sad news was brought to my attention from my past best buddy. The news that Clint Wisdom had died in War. I loved Clint. But it was fighting for his country who he loved more. Clint and I had some terrific memories back in North KC where I met and fell in love with him at Feathers Restaurant. I will always remember Clint when I walk into 'Hole-in-the-wall' bars. I still have JC from the Jockey Club in Riverside, MO! He will always have a special place in my heart. I am sorry that time and distance separated us, now I can communicate to clint through Our Almightly Father. Clint, may you rest in peace and may the Lord Almightly watch over your daughter, stepson and their Mother."

"God Bless You Clint"
One year ago today, Christmas Eve, Clint came back to the Horton Armory to tell us good-bye. I'll never forget the look in his eye and the conviction in his voice when he promised us he would take care of the B Battery men and bring back as many as he could. My reply to him was "Make sure you are one of them" In turn Clint replied "I'll try but if I have to sacrifice my life to save others you know I will." Which we knew he would if he needed to and he did. Clint saved many lives that day fighting for what he and this country stands for. Thank you Clint. You will never be forgotten. The Horton Head Start children and Staff are very proud to have known such a wonderful man and a true hero. To Clint's family: May God comfort you as only He can. Please know that Clint was loved by many people and will never be forgotten. We thank God for Clint and for allowing him to be a part of our lives. Let us all strive to live the kind of life that Sgt. 1st Class Clint Wisdom fought and died for."
Paula Jacobson of Horton, Ks

"All I can say about Clint is that I miss him very much. I have known alot of people in my life. He was definately one that made a difference. He was truly my mentor and good friend. Clint taught me everything I know about being a true Soldier and how to improve my golf swing! I found it very hard to say "goodbye" when I helped lay him to rest. I miss you man...if I come to join you before I get out of this place, save me a cold beer. I WILL see you later..."

"SFC Wisdom was not only a friend but was also a a FTUS AGR (Active Guard & Reserve soldier) who was instrumental to all of us. To take a quote from Maj Hamner he said in a letter to his daughters concerning the meaning of Veteran's Day that Jesus once taught the world that, "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." John 15:13. I, as a member of BTRY B, will always cherish my memories of a very special Soldier/AGR Compatriot/Friend/Hero who gave his life witout a second regard to the mission and duties assigned Him. He carried out these duties to the last detail! GOD BLESS CLINTON L. WISDOM! and all the rest of the 2-130TH FA BN, and all men and women of the Kansas Army National Guard.""
