"Almost one year since you have been gone, bro. I still think of you daily. I am so proud to have known you and very proud to have called you a friend. Your impact on my life has been significant.

You are the best outside linebacker turned Quarterback I have even known (my fault)....you are the best mortarman I could ever dream of serving with, you were the best Dad I could ever dream of becoming, and most of all you are the friend that everyone could ever dream of having.

If any of Ben's family would like to contact me, I would love it.

"SSgt Williams was one of my best friends. We served together for 6 years. We were great friends both on duty and off duty. I spoke with him on his cell phone right before he deployed to Iraq, and he said he would call me when he returned.

Today I picked up a magazine and saw him listed as KIA. I am still in shock.

Ben was a great guy and one of the best friends anyone could ask for. He was a great Marine Leader.

Seabag, I miss you brother."
