But today I am writing to you to let you know that your brother and sisters killed that bastard Obama today. I am sure you are so happy and dancing up in heaven. The bagpipes are playing loud and proud. Enjoy the party in heaven as you have an earned it my friend. I love you and will always remember you. "Some sacrificed it all"."

"You are not forgotten."

"Finally came across you. So much of life that I wish that we could be doing together. Miss that shoulder brother. My daughter has blue eyes and I wonder if they were a gift from you. I look into them and I feel very secure. Not a day goes by that you do not cross mine and Sylvia's mind. I hear a song or see something and think, Man I know Marc would've loved that. I talk to your Mom but not nearly as much as I should. Same goes for your brother and sister. Heard a new one today called Tear by Tear by Sister Hazel. Just really makes me think that it is the simplest things that make you the happiest. It was always cool to watch it turn from light to dark at Knuckleheads. Man too bad I don't drink anymore. Just one more Guiness and Jeager with you bro. Martin Whip and Scrimp are all doing pretty good. Just keep watch over us brother which I already know you are."
Cpl John Byrd of Edgefield, SC

"I had the extreme honor of serving with Marc from day 1 in 1038 at Parris Island in boot camp, onto Camp Geiger in NC, then to serve together in WPNS CO 1/1 in CA. Not a day went by for 4 years plus where our paths didn't cross at least once.
Marc, you were a true friend, teammate, and hero. There's so much more I want to tell you...I know we'll meet again someday.

"Hey Ryan, It's 09 Dec 2006. It's been a crazy year. I volunteered for Honor Guard this summer and did over 150 Vetern funerals this summer and drove over 10,000 miles in 4 months. I think it was the proudest 4 months I could of ever served in the military. I visited you Memorial Day 2006, I had to jump the fence at the Cemetery "can you believe it they lock the cemetery at 430PM on MEMORIAL DAY! I drank a beer with you and left you one. I had another Kid this year Marc, I named him Parker. I'll bring him by next time I visit. I wish the best for your family this Christmas.

I truly believe that Marc, and the other 14 who paid the ultimate on this tour, were looking down from above and helped get their buddies home safe. Please accept my condolences. Think you for the time he serviced and the time he was with my brother Cpl Lance M Thompson. Remember that was doing something we loved. Remember to keep those memories close to your hearts. "A complicated man of many colors
He is a solid rock of gold
I love him unconditionally
As he has shown me what a real man is
One I will never lose
For he is my Guardian Angel
The one that saves me from the darkness

If I can touch one life,
The way you touched mine.
I will have lived with a purpose,
You died like a warrior and we are proud! But pride cannot ease the pain in the hearts of those you left behind.
God bless our Troops & Their Families"
