20, of Memphis, Tennessee.
Ross died in Baghdad, Iraq, when his camp was attacked by individuals using mortars. He was assigned to the 115th Forward Support Battalion, 1st Cavalry Division, Fort Hood, Texas. Died on August 25, 2004.

"I went to Lanier Jr. High with Marco and he was a wonderful young man who had alot going for hisself. Marco was known as my Godbrother in school and up until now. Even though he is gone to a better place he is still my Godbrother.I kept in contact with Marco all through High School and wrote to him when he was in Iraq. We kept in touch all them years.
