"Hello; I'm in a local (Avon, CT) Goodwill Store just an hour ago and come upon a beer glass with CPL. Scott Procopio's name and date KIA engraved on the front. It hit me hard - why did it end up in a Goodwill Store? I scooped it off the shelf and cradled it in my arm and bought it. Now I would like to see a Marine buddy or family member of CPL. Procopio have it. I am willing to wrap, box and ship it for free. The back of the glass says 'Award Winner" and Lenox Back Bay Boston below it". Please contact me: Sue Martucci - 860-841-4287 or suemartucci@gmail.com. I am the founder and president of the CT Trees of Honor Memorial and our fallen heroes are always close to my heart. My condolences to CPL. Procopio's family. This glass might be special to someone; couldn't pass it by. A toast to you CPL Procopio! -www.cttreesofhonor.com"

"Today a Memorial Tweet was posted about Marine Corporal Scott J Procopio KIA 9 yrs ago in Itaq. It stirred the hearts of so many. He looks like all our sons. We thank the family who gave us this fine young man--if only briefly...and we remember his Sacrifice -- and yours. "I speak with Scotty every so often, i am a close friend of his and i am still in Ramadi. I pass by the cross which was made for him and take a knee to thank him for everything he has ever done for me and everything he is still doing. Keeping the rest of us over here safe and our families safe. It is still hard to deal with sometimes, i feel as though i see him sometimes but it is my head playing with me. I know that he is in a better place and that he will continue to look after all friends and family. Thank you Scotty, you will never be forgotten."
