Army Sgt. Carlos E. Pernell

25, of Munford, Alabama.
Pernell died in Ar Ramadi, Iraq, when his camp received indirect enemy fire during combat operations. He was assigned to the 46th Engineer Battalion, Fort Rucker, Alabama. Died on June 6, 2006.

"Im his little cousin and when he died I was in Iraq on my third tour. We had plenty of fun summers together where we would cut up and run wild.
