"Methvin Family, I have memories of Daniel when he was just a baby. We lived across the street from you and my mother babysat Sarah and Daniel. I remember rolling around on the ground playing with him and making him laugh. I always thought fondly of him because our birthdays were a day or two apart I believe, mine was March 31 and he was around that. Anyway, I think of him and your family often and always thank God for his brave soul. I served & I think it an honor to be associated with a Man like him and many others that serve, have served and have given everything for all of us! God Bless!"

"Daniel, I haven't seen you since you walked out of S&W with your dad and my kids heading out to see a movie. Your dad was so proud of you & we'd get a kick out of your dad's stories of watching you play ball. It was your dad who taught me how to laugh and I will be forever grateful. I do stop by to visit you now & then and I know there's no better place to be than with Jesus, yet I am saddened for your parents and Sarah. Thank you for your sacrifice and the joy you've given so many."

"In Loving Memory..Its been a year..7/26/04

At the rising of the sun and at its going down, We remember them.
At the blowing of the wind and in the chill of Winter, We remember them.
At the opening of buds and in the rebirth of Spring, We remember them.
At the blueness of the skies and in the warmth of Summer, We remember them.
At the rustling of leaves and the beauty of Autumn, We remember them.
At the beginning of the year and when it ends, We remember them.
As long as we live, they too will live;
for they are now a part of us, as we remember them.
Rest in Peace Dear Soldier!!! We will NEVER FORGET!"
