"I did not know Brian but I am wearing a memorial bracelet with his name on it to honor his sacrifice. I was looking for someone who was in the Navy because my oldest son was killed while in the Navy and someone who was from Oklahoma because I am from Oklahoma. When I saw the date of Brian's death, saw he was from Oklahoma and in the Navy, I knew I was going to chose him to honor. Imagine my surprise when I looked at the column listing names and saw his name was Brian, it blew me away. My surviving son is named Brian and his date of birth is Oct. 4. I will wear this bracelet proudly."

"Brian you were there for me when I had no one else, when I had reached my lowest point you helped me up. I made second class, you made first, I knew you would. We have a wall at home with dog tags of fallen heroes, I had one made with your name on it to put on there. I'm doin alright in spite of my self. New Years sucked because we all knew that you would have been there and you would have made it so much more fun. I tried to get Belinda to go to Whisky River but she never showed, but I'll keep trying. I saw her and the girls the other day, they look like they are doing good, now that you can watch over them all the time. When I see you again I really be able to tell you how much it hurts since you've been gone, and you still owe me a six pack of beer. We all miss you, but we are moving on, we will never find another friend like you and I am not going to even try and look. Thank you for all you did, I'll try and keep an eye on things down here and keep your family in my prayers. Good ride cowboy! Boomer Sooner!!!!!"

"Brian- There is so much to say about you and so many memories I have. You were always a laugh and so much fun to be around. You were at our wedding and our first childs baby shower. I still can't believe you are gone. You were one of my favorite two step partners. I'll keep Belinda and the girls in my prayers. This world has lost a wonderful man."
