"To Justin T. Hunt, and the lives that he impacted:
I thank Justin for his sacrifice for our country. I thank Justin and everyone in the military for their sacrifice everyday.
I go to Winfield City High School. I play football, and I am the Student Body President. I am only able to participate in these activities because of those who sacrificed their lives before I was born. I thank them.
I am an 18 year old Senior at Winfield. I am writing on Justin's page as a project, and if anyone would like to contact me, you can do so at jwilson@winfield.k12.al.us"

"I never want to forget the sacrifices of so many young men and women. I am so proud it makes me cry. I understand in theory only that war is a part of human nature but so is love and caring. I wish I could take the families pain away but I can't. I am committed to loving ALL people, myself and our environment. I am committed to working on my happiness everyday because so many have died for my freedom to live my life. Thank you is not enough but it is all I have. All my love and respect. ogersteiner@yahoo.com

"Justin,
You are in my thoughts everyday, and it helps so much to know that you are looking after Rodney. I remember the day Lisa and I were at the exchange by Subway on base, and I had just moved to Jacksonville. I felt really awkward being a dorky punk rock kid in the middle of a military base, but you made it a point to make me feel welcome.
If I ever felt confident about anyone watching my brother's back in combat, I will say that I was most confident in you. And, although you may not be with him physically, I know that you still have his back. Thank you for everything, and someday, I hope you may rest in peace.
I want you to know that know that no matter what, your smiling face will remain in my heart forever."
Dana Backues of Ballwin, MO/USA
