"David, thank you for being an unselfish individual. Answering the call to serve our country as a SOLDIER! Is something not many ever do! So I'm extremely grateful to YOU! More so that you became a military brother to our son. As I can assure you and your family. he felt you had been his brother. Unfortunately, neither of you knew one another. Still soldiers have that understanding. To always watch one another back! An David, you had been a comfort to me. Knowing men like you service our grateful nation. I didn't have to worry about my son. Sadly, he fell 05-03-04 in Balad, Iraq. I have shed many many tears since and today. These tears are for you. I feel no different then with my son; you are just that important. I realize you are someone's someone just as my Gregory was. i just want your family to understand. We care and your not alone! That you have not died in vain! an you are an AMERICAN HERO! Davis your a young man. That truely, has accomplished alot in your life. Many many things most Americans never do! You have touched the hearts of so many. To each one, will remembered the precious and fond times shared together with you. An will reflect on them mourning you. You have touched the hearts in your community, among your friends, those in your military family and your loving family. An that's why? I ask you today. Reach out to your community and polticial leaders today. To have a STREET be named after David in his honour. It is the very least his community can do to honour David. He not only served his country; he served his community, county and state! You David are in my prays and your family. Healing is a very slow process. The important thing is to be supportive toward one another. You all lved DAVID in your own special way. An he loved you all very much. He knew you all loved him very dearly. David is still with you in your heart."
LEONARD WAHL of VALLEY STREAM NY
