"To the Family of Cpl Terry Holmes, today Aug. 22, 2010, I walked in memory of your beloved son, brother, uncle, friend. T.A.M.P.A. an organization of USMC Families supporting those and REMEMBERING our FALLEN HERO's, held it's 3rd year for "RUN FOR THE FALLEN" here in Tampa, FL. Today was a special day, because I carried Terry's name with PRIDE, and in HONOR of his COURAGE, DEDICATION, and SERVICE to this country. As a Marine wife, I EMBRACE ALL those who serve no matter what uniform they put on. Today, I thanked Terry as I walked along E.G Simmons Park in Ruskin, FL and looked up into the skies and SMILED at Terry, and prayed that Terry's family is doing ok. And along with hundred's, we ALL reflected on those lives who have made the sacrafice for the FREEDOM we live in. I believe Terry was a "ONE OF KIND MARINE", as my husband continue's on as active duty USMC,and today, he too has ran for a fallen Marine today, a "BROTHER" is what he said. Terry IS a brother to my husband, and knowing that no matter where the Marine Cor takes my husband, he is ALWAYS think'n of those fallen "BROTHER's" and continuing to do his part as UNITED STATES MARINE. I to have lived thru numerous deployment's, with sleepless nite's, and wonderous day's.
To Terry's mom, you are the ONE who has given him life, you are the one who has given him the COURAGE to STAND DUTY and SERVE HIS COUNTRY, you should be VERY PROUD of Terry, and I PRAISE you. I to have a young son, and he LOOK's UP to his dad (my husband) and other fellow Marines as his "HERO". So, today, Cpl Terry Holmes is REMEBERED ALWAYS! Your LOVED ONE WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN! SEMPIR FI TERRY!

Mahalo, god bless Terry and his family.

"I never want to forget the sacrifices of so many young men and women. I am so proud it makes me cry at times. I understand, in theory only, that war is a part of human nature but so is love and caring. I wish I could take your families and friends pain away but I can't. I am committed to loving ALL people, myself and our environment. I am committed to working on my happiness everyday because so many have died for my freedom to live my life. Thank you is not enough but it is all I have. All my love and respect. ogersteiner@yahoo.com

"My thoughts and prayers are with your family as you go through one of the most difficult losses that a family has to endure. My son lost his life in the same area as Terry on April 17, 2004. It has been a journey that I would never want another family to endure. Hold on to your memories and never let them go. At 22, he was years older than his age. We, as military families have so much to be proud of in these brave, dedicated, loyal Marines. Our faith has gotten us through and knowing that we will see our Chris again in heaven, I pray you also have a faith that will sustain you during the time.

God bless you and your family."
Terri Bowman of Las Vegas, NV. USA
