Army Cpl. Kenneth D. Hess

26, of Asheville, North Carolina.
Hess died while conducting a dismounted patrol in Rawah, Iraq, as the result of a suicide bomber attack. He was assigned to the 4th Squadron, 14th Cavalry Regiment, 172nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, Fort Wainwright, Alaska. Died on April 11, 2006.
