Army Pfc. Michael R. Hayes

29, of Morgantown, Kentucky.
Hayes died in Baghdad, Iraq, where a rocket-propelled grenade hit his HMMWV while he was providing security cordon for an improvised explosive device found earlier. He was assigned to the Army National Guard’s 617th Military Police Company, Richmond, Kentucky. Died on June 14, 2005.
