"I do not know this man, but I am a fellow army soldier deployed over seas. It is currently sept 2012 and I have had this great mans name on my wrist since 2009. I have never taken my bracelet off since 2009 and don't plan to. I look at it every day and remember a brother I unfortunately never had the honor to know."

"I didn't know your son, but I was at the cemetery today with my son visiting my father and mothers grave and noticed flowers around one of the graves right over from us, so I walked down to see whom it belong to. I read and noticed that the veteran ( Daniel ) was such a young age. I explained to my son whom is 7, that he died in war. He fought for our country. I don't think my son will ever forget that. My blessings go out to your family and God Bless You! Iam sure Daniel was a great guy with a good heart! God Bless!!"

"To the family of George, I am SGT Hollifield. I served with your son in Iraq. I was assigned to his platoon. He use to live right next door to me. We would all sit in my room or his and play Halo on XBox. He was a great guy. He always had a way of making us laugh no matter how mad we were at him. I am sorry for your loss. I wasnt there the day he was killed cause I had suffered personal injuries myself from a sniper a month earlier. I was still in the hospital when they gave me the news that he had been killed. Im sorry. I wish that I could have taken his place. I would have given anything to bring your son home to you. I know that there are a lot of questions, and I wish that I had the answers, but I dont. Know this, your son was one of the best soldiers I have ever had the privilage to serve with in my entire career. He was a true soldier who loved his family and knew the risk that we all faced. He came to visit me in the CASH right after I was hit. He told me that things would be better for me and that I had a ticket home. I wish I could have sent him in my stead. Im sorry I couldnt."
SGT Mark S. Hollifield Sr. of El Paso, Tx

"To the Harrison Family, I never knew your son personally. But I am very thankful for all he did for this country. I have spoken with one of his best friends James, and he told me so much about Dan. You are all in my constant thoughts and prayers, I had built a tribute to all our military for the service they are and have done for this country. And after speaking with James I knew I had to add your beloved Dan to the page. James told me that Dan was about to receive his Spc stripe so on the tribute page I have Spc. Dan Harrison. Dan earned that rank so it was only fitting that he be known as a Specialist. If at any time anyone would like to view the page just go to:http://www.geocities.com/bright_eyes267/tribute_AmericanSoldiers.html
Your beloved Dan was and is a hero to the American People. God Bless"

"Military Police Corps Regimental Prayer
By Chaplain Michael Yarman

Heavenly Father - We approach You today because You have called us to be a people of prayer.

We praise You because You are our Creator, our Redeemer and our Provider.

We acknowledge our great need for You as we fulfill our mission as soldiers.

We have been called to serve our nation as Military Police and we are proud of the honored heritage of the Regiment and our motto: Of the Troops and For the Troops.

Whether we are fighting an enemy, securing as area, patrolling the streets, or helping someone in distress, help us, O Lord, to always be men and women of integrity who can be counted on to do the right thing.

Give us the strength to stand for what is right and to oppose those who would do harm to our nation and the people we serve.

May we always be truthful in Word, Deed and Signature, and bring honor through our service to the memory of those in the Regiment who gave the supreme sacrifice for their country.

Guide us now, Father, by giving us wisdom and knowledge from on high, that as Military Police we will always be prepared to Assist, Protect and Defend."
