"Steven and family,
I just want to send all my love to all of you today. I praise Steven for making the ultimate sacrifice while on his mission to make the world a better place. I'm truly thankful that I had the honor of serving at Steven's ceremony, in doing so I learned just how special a person Steven was and incidentally gained a new family. I'm deploying to Iraq next month and I know Steven will accompany me every step of the way. I love and miss you guys and want you to know you're all in my daily thoughts and prayers... especially you Joyce."
