"Kendall, this past year was good. Just wanted to stop in and let you and your family know you are never forgotten."
Scott Hicks of Denver, NC

"It has been ten years and that day is still etched in my head. I remember you beating me repeatedly at our motorpool in Balad waiting to hear back out. I remember your face smiling when you juked inside for the dunk over and over. Then I had to round us all up for movement back home. I said we would play volleyball and you just laughed and said okay. We never played that game. Kendall, I have never forgotten about you and I never will. I am sorry. I wish we could have moved differently, so many things I would have done to be a better NCO. I hate this time of year because I failed you. I hope the best for your family and that your spirit is in paradise."
Scott Hicks of Denver, NC

"Man almost once a week I awake In a dream of kendall, he was my bunk partner first going in and we used to share giggles and I remembered when we first had to deploy he whispered to me saying "Im scared to go over" Hiss eyes were kind of blood shot and I told him we will be ok and make it back safely but I can see in his eyes that he was scared everyday while over. You will be missed by many kendall and like i jokingly told you before we deployed if either of us go the other will name their son or daughter after the fallen one and I plan to stick by that brother...

ooo rahh!"

"Wow, what can I say. This is a guy that I looked forward to seeing everyday. He always needed to borrow something from our motorpool. :)His outgoing personality and friendly smile made it impossible to be down and it was a pleasure having him serve alongside me in Iraq. I am sorry for the family's loss, but we all know he is in a much better place."

"This is for the family of Sgt. Kendell Frederick. Mr. and Mrs. Murphy your son was such a joy and comfort to us in Iraq. I could always look to his smile when I was down to raise my spirits. He talked so much about his family especially his little brother Kwami. He had so much good in him to have it all taken away so quickly. He always had a joke or some funny dance to make you laugh. I know that Kendell will be remembered forever and he will always have a place in the heart of 467th En Bn. I know he looks down on everyone and he smiles when he sees how his life has touched so many."
