"I went to school with Christopher, he truly was a great guy. I just want to say "Thank you Christopher... for everything. God bless you." To the Everett family, Thank You, for raising such a caring and brave child, may He Rest In Peace. Christopher was a very kind person, he will forever be missed, I am sure you already know that. My deepest sympathy is with you in this time of mourning. You, as well as all soldiers and their families will remain in my prayers. God bless you all."

"These soldiers are doing what most of us only talk about-changing the world, making it a better place & affecting countless lives now & for the future. I know the sacrifices made, to spread the opportunity for freedom, in places no one dared dream of it, is really the only way to change the attitudes wrought by some senseless dictator. In our house, we know the sacrifices made to make this country & its people what they are today, & won't let the naysayers diminish what has been accomplished. To Chris Everett's family, Sgt Carl Wheless has kept many across the U.S.A. informed about his unit, etc. on the Glenn Beck Forum, & we hope you know that what your son gave his life for makes him the type of person I tell my children about, make sure they know that is the type of person they are to look up to.{{{{Thank You}}}}"

"Chris was at first a co-worker to me, and then a roommate while we worked for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. We like any other roommates occasionally butted heads, but most of the time we just laughed and had fun along with all of our other friends. He was called to duty for the second time in the National Guard and was ready and eager to go out and serve his country. We were proud and supportive of him then and still are, as of all the men and women fighting for our way of life and to stop those who would harm us for enjoying it. My prayers stay with his family and other friends who are grieving yet also celebrating the life of a true hero."
