"Tomorrow will Mark 10 years since you left this world. I still flash back to those days in training were you helped mold me into the soldier I was. I remember even clearer the day you left us. I continue to leave this day (April 1st ) to your memory. I reflect on my life and I wonder if I'm living to my fullest potential. The memory of you is so clear like I can hear your words as the hummv was coming towards the gate as a simulated vbied in germany. You were all over it and saved our lives that day. That was the training right before our 2nd tour. Thanks for those memories and more."
