Army Cpl. Matthew P. Steyart

21, of Mount Shasta, California.
Steyart died in Shah Wali Kot, Afghanistan, when an improvised explosive device detonated near his HMMWV during patrol operations. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 508th Infantry Regiment, Vicenza, Italy. Died on November 22, 2005.
