Marine Lance Cpl. Samuel W. Large, Jr.

21, of Villa Rica, Georgia.
Large died when two CH-53 helicopters crashed into the Gulf of Aden in the vicinity of Ras Siyyan, northern Djibouti, while flying a training mission in the Godoria Range area. He was deployed to Djibouti as part of the Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa. He was assigned to Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 464, Marine Air Group 29, 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing, II Marine Expeditionary Force, New River, North Carolina. Died on February 17, 2006.

My name is Micah Cornett and I am from Hiram, GA. I wanted to express to the family of this hero, my deepest sympathy. I appreciate the many brave men and women who serve our country. I have a special place in my heart for the ones that laid down the ultimate sacifice on the alter of freedom.

Thank God for the brave souls who sacifice everything in attempt to rid the world of tyranny and oppression.
