Thomas was stationed at the base in Shkin in 2003 on his second tour in Afghanistan. He was KIA 8-31-03 while on a mission in the mountains(he was a sniper) Adam helped build that base that they would call the worst place to be in the world. Be proud of Michael as he was making our world a safer place and I know he is with my son and all the other hero's. May you have faith through this long journey of grief.
